24th of July

Pretty uneventful 24th of July for us, but had a good time hanging at Mykens for just a bit and taking the youngers to get ice-cream.  You should have seen Wilson doing his little dance for us while some fireworks were going off around us.  :)

Our little Tim

This is our sweet turtle Tim.  We have had Tim a very long time, almost 6 years.  The other day we woke up to find that Tim had died.  The kids were so upset, every single one of them cried.  Dallin and his friend Landon made a little "coffin" to bury him in, decorated it to their liking and then Mya added her final girlie touches of lots and lots of flowers.  We had a little funeral for him and Mya and Wilson read a little something about him.  We sure are going to miss this super easy cute little guy.  :(

Dino Museum

The kiddos had an amazing time at the Dino Musuem with Grandma Sis and their cousins.....the older ones are getting a little "too old" apparently, but they still had fun hanging out.  We met for lunch then then wandered around the musuem and let the kids play.  Thanks Mom for taking us.

Steel Days

By far one of my favorite traditions for sure is Steel Days, this year Daron and Angie came up to celebrate with us.  We all met at the parade.....the kids all got loads and loads of candy. The parade was really good this year,  After the parade we had a little BBQ at Grandma's pool and celebrated the kids summer birthday's.  I loved that we were able to hang out all day together and then that night watched the fireworks.

Dallin slammed dunked the kid in the water first throw!

After the parade we all went to Grandma Sis's pool and swam........of course the kids had a blast.

Dad and Mya cooking our yummy kabobs

We went and watched the fireworks at American Fork High School, they were so amazing......best ones I've seen all year for sure.

Mya and her Bestie

My mom is so moved by the amazing fireworks.....she is grabbing her heart with such sweet emotion, ha ha!!!  She will beat me for posting this but we got a good chuckle out of it.

Birthday Night and Carny Fun

I had a great birthday night, we decided to take the kiddos to the Steel Days carnival with the Barnes.  My little fam ate at the Pizza Factory and then we met all of their fam there.  We had a blast.....my favorite was the people watching, there's some pretty dang die hard carny fans out there.  All the kids rode a bunch of rides and we all even rode the ferris wheel together.  Sure love hanging out with these amazing friends of ours, love them as if they were family.  I ended the night with a nice big ol fattening funnel cake.......as if I hadn't eaten a bunch of crap all day, Taylor wanted to make sure we got one.  Sure love celebrating my birthday, but more than that.....I just love spending time with family and friends and that's a perfect excuse. :)
