Man we're getting old!!!

So I realized this weekend that we are getting old! :( We went out with our great friends the Barnes and Parrish's to celebrate Merrill's 40th birthday! WHAT????? We have a friend that's 40??? Um.....that means we are not far off! Wow, I sure don't feel like I'm getting close. Good thing we still all act 20! :) We had such a great time, we sure love these guys and are so grateful for their friendship! We seriously ALWAYS have so much fun when we're together!

California DAY 6 = Coming Home = :(

Today the boys stayed and swam at the pool in the morning with Jake while me, Ange, Mya, and Wils were crazy once again and decided to go for a few more hours to the California Adventure side. There were still some characters we were wanting to meet, (side note, Ange is going to make Wilson a darling ABC book for his birthday of him with Disney characters so we spent quite a bit of time trying to find certain characters for that!) Anyway, the few hours went by fast of course then we met up with everyone for our last little lunch and some shopping! I am sad that the trip is already over, seriously why does it go by so so so fast??

Honestly this was one the best trips ever! The perfect people, lots of fun, and of course amazing memories. It was kind of a sacrifice for us to be able to go, selling the cruiser and all, but I am so grateful we did and that we were able to spend such awesome quality time. I will treasure this FOREVER and am already looking forward to going again!

California DAY 5 = the first day of HALLOWEEN

Today was so very crowded because it was the first official day they open the park for Halloween, but no matter the crazy crowds, the Halloween rides were super fun! The Haunted Mansion and Space Mountain were all set for the season. Of course we had another jammed pack day of fun! It's so funny because me and Ange could just go go go, and so could the kids for that matter, never too much of Disneyland. I think Jake and Dad had a different idea, ha ha! They were really good sports though!

So Jake had this great idea of saving a VIP seat right across from the castle to watch the fireworks, but it required being there for 4 hours, wowzers. We kind of all just took turns waiting, and I have to say, it was worth it.
