It's PUMPKIN carving time

Of course, of course, of course we HAVE to carve our pumpkins. My kids would NEVER let that one slide so last night we went to Ange's and carved away. We had a great time and the pumpkins look pretty cool, can't wait to see them all lit up tonight:)

Here's our pumpkins ready to carve!

4th grade project

So Taylor had his first project this year which was to build an Indian Diorama. His teacher gave him several groups of Indians he could choose from and Tay decided he wanted to build an Anasazi type diorama since he said it reminded him so much of Canyonlands. He did such a great job with a little help from dad, I loved seeing the two of them work on it together. We think it turned out pretty dang cool, hope his teacher does too.

Here's a pic of the first day that they made their first batch of "red rock" aka - colored salt dough!

Then we had to make 2 more batches to make all the detail of the cliff dwellings, corn crib, and their homes.

LOVE how proud he looks:)

The finished product! :)

Frightmares at GaLoon

I will definitely take the kids to Frightmares again, we had such a good time and totally worth the money. If you think about now days how much it is just to go to ONE haunted house (around $25.00) you pay the $33.00 (with a coupon) and you get to ride on rides ALL day long and there are 5 haunted houses there, all different levels. They had the cutest ones for little kids where they handed out treats and even toys and then all the way up to WAY CREEEEEEEPY which of course my boys were all about and didn't even ask for me to sleep with them that night, ha ha! We met the Barnes up there and was so excited we ran into the Parrish's too so we all hung out and had a GREAT time!

First ride of the day, the haunted house!

I had to laugh at this, the second we walked past the haunted house this is what Wilson did, he's such a little scaredy cat!!

I would have to say that this was Wilson's FAVORITE ride. He LOVED the boats, in fact he would freak out every time we would walk past it.

We saw these cute witches and had to get a pic with them.

Wils LOVED the choo choo

Riding the train in the SPOOKY dark tunnel!

Mya LOVED the swing ride

LOVE this one of Mya and Jake

Some of our crew on WICKED......LOVE and HATE this ride, seriously made me so sick, but I love that it's CRAZY!!
