A Blast from the Past

Bek made these DARLING invites for my dad's party!
Me and Angeline have been planning my dad's 70th birthday party for a couple of months and honestly I have to say, it went GREAT!!!! It was so much fun! We did a 50's theme since that was when he was a teenager, so we decorated with old records, jukebox, and a diner type theme. We invited a lot of people and figured we had about 70 people there between family and my dad's friends.

We wanted to make dad's birthday extra special this year because he TRULY deserves it. He is one of my very favorite people in the whole world and I am so proud of being his daughter. I love you dad more that words can express. Thank you for your love and support and for always being the "cool" dad that you are. Hope you had an awesome day, I know I did! Thanks Jennifer too for making the coolest video ever of dad, it was amazing, you always do such a great job!

Oh, what little hands can do???!!"

So this is what happens when you give two little girls some paint, paint brushes, paper, water, and time where mom isn't totally paying attention. It's funny because I was just in the office, right next to the kitchen and could hear them having a great old time, painting pictures, at least that's what I thought. After a little bit I came out to this glorious masterpiece all over the kitchen, the girls, the chairs, and the floors. Aren't they such the little artists, so so funny!!

"Look Mom what me and Zoe can do???!!"

Zoe with it EVERYWHERE!!!

Mya is just so proud of herself!!

Wee Ha

How dang fun does this look?? So who knew that you could buy old billboard signs and use them as a "GINORMOUS" (as my kids would say) water slide! It was a blast for the kids. Myken got them and she set it up at the park by her house and pretty much it's a free for all for all the kids and their friends. My boys have done it twice and have absolutely LOVED it! Mya hasn't quite got brave enough to slide down, and if I wasn't 7 months prego I would have for sure gone down with her. Hopefully we get a few more times in before it starts to cool down.

Dallin and Taylor LOVIN the slide!

An Over-Nighter up American Fork Canyon

We decided to do an over-nighter up American Fork canyon with Myken and Matt and had such a great time, even in the rain. To pass the time while it rained we all sat in our tent and the kids wrestled Matt and Jake for seriously an hour, it was hilarious! I love how much we've gone camping this year, seriously it's my favorite thing ever! Thanks guys for the great memories!

Mya, Dallin, Zoe, and Ellie hanging out!

Mya LOVES to eat marshmellows!

First Day of School

Okay, it must be the pregnancy hormones, but I seriously bawled as I drove the boys to school this morning. Even though they are both really excited, I just thought about my little Dallin being gone ALLLLLLL day long. I remember feeling that way with Tay last year and of course he did great, so I know it will pass, but my little guys are just growing up WAY too fast! I'm actually really anxious to pick them up and see how the day went. I will keep you posted!

The boys and the first day of school!

One last fling before school starts!

We decided to do one last little fling before school starts this week. We went with the Briems and stayed the night up in Layton at a hotel. We swam, hung out, painted toes, went to dinner, and played games. It was so much fun. Then the next day we went to Lagoon. The kids had a BLAST!!!! I loved that they love every single ride, even little Miss Mya loved all her kiddie rides. Even though I couldn't ride anything, which I LOVE to go on all the rides, I had fun just watching the kiddos have fun. I have to say, Lagoon has come a long way lately (nothing compared to Disneyland), but VERY cool rides!!

The gang all at Lagoon:
Matt, Myken, Zoe, and Ellie, Scott and his daughter Kira and her cousin Melissa, Dallin, me, Mya, Tay, and Jake

I love that Myken brings all her nail stuff, woo hoo I will finally have cute toes!

And the finished product....um.....Myken, get a tan, hee hee!

Jake swimming with all the kids!

Walking home from dinner. Aww.....so cute!

All snuggled and ready for bed. Yah right!!! These kids didn't go to sleep until midnight, sheesh!

I love more than anything that my boys are not afraid of one single ride. Jake took them on all the CRAZY CRAZY rides. WICKED, Colassus, SPIDER, Rocket, Mouse Trap, Samuri, etc.....they just can't get enough. It's the best!

Everyone on Tidal Wave

Wee Ha!

Okay, me and the girls waited 45 mintues to ride this dinky little ride, but Mya and Zoe LOVED it!

Hi MOM!

Ridin the swings!

Awwww...............cute little buddies!

Dallin and Ellie ready to go!

And there off!

Okay, so you should have seen how nervous I was that Mya was on this ride, it drops pretty fast and far. This is before, and after I think she was a little unsure about that crazy ride. I was pretty proud that she even wanted to go.

Riding the whale!

Everyone got SOAKED on this ride, it was hilarious!

Dallin and his "Chochley"

Daddy tried and tried to win at this game, funny because Matt and Scott both did so the pressure was high. Good thing he's better at basetball to win the kids something there.

The girls!
