Looking for the perfect tree!

It's been a tradition for the last few years for us to go and cut down our own Christmas Tree, and this year was no different except for the fact that I didn't go, (boo hoo!) Jake and the boys went with Shane and Ange and had a great time and of course found us the perfect tree. They hiked around a bit, ate some yummy lunch, and got to ride on the ranger. We love this tradition!

Thanksgiving 2009

The boys made some awesome Thankgiving ART!!

Thanksgiving was really great this year, thanks Ange for having ALL of us there and pretty much doing EVERYTHING, and thanks mom for providing all the yummy food! It was fun to just hang out, play games, look at ads, visit, and be with FAMILY!!! I love this time of year and am SO grateful for SO many things. I am so grateful to be a momma, to be a wife to my best friend, to have the best families ever and to be as close as we are, to have all my amazing friends, and to know that my Savior Lives and loves each and every one of us! I truly am so VERY VERY blessed!

Happy 8th Birthday to my sweet Taylor!

Today is Thanksgiving, but today is also my sweet Taylor's 8th birthday! I just want to tell him how very much I love him and how 8 years ago today he gave me the GREATEST gift anyone could ever give, the gift of being a momma! I knew the second I had Taylor and they handed him to me, we both just looked into each others eyes, I knew right then and there what a special little boy he would be. He is my sensitive most caring little boy, always worried about everyone's feelings and wanting to include everyone. I am so proud of the young man he is becoming and want him to know that I love him with ALL of my heart! We will be celebrating his family birthday on Sunday so there will be more pics to come! Love you buddy!

Fun, Fun, and more FUN!!!!

This year Taylor's 8th birthday falls on Thanksgiving so we decided to have his little friend party last Saturday. Tay wanted to have his party at Boondocks, and what a party it was. Apparently there was a "malfunction" with one of the token machines and honestly it was a free for all with TONS and TONS of tokens to be handed out to everyone. The kids played the entire 3 hours they were there. They played laser tag, rode the go-karts, and played SOOOO many games and got SOOOO many tickets. I love that everyone had a blast! From the sound of it, it was quite a hit. Because of having sweet little Wilson, I didn't go, but good job Jake on taking some great pics!

Today is my Jakey's birthday! I just wanted to say a little something about this amazing man! Not only is he such a loving husband, but he seriously is the BEST most caring and fun daddy there is. I know that my kids just ADORE their dad and look up to him for soooo many things. I have been so lucky to know Jake since 5th grade, we have been best friends ever since, and more than anything I love that he loves me despite all my shortcomings. There has always been something special about Jake, something that people recognize right away, and I am the lucky one who gets to be with him FOREVER! Love ya babe!
