We've finally started on time..........

Here's the garden all ready for planting, yay! It seems like we always start way later than we should so I'm happy to say we are on top of it, woo hoo! And funny, those are our onions that came up this year from last year, ha ha!

The Hunger Games

Me and a bunch of the fam went and saw the 12:13 a.m. showing of Hunger Games on opening night, March 23rd. It was such a good movie and so fun that we are all crazy enough to be the firsts to see it. :)

Me and my Momma, we were laughing that she was probably the oldest one there, so cool!

Someone LOVES to say his prayers

I just love how cute Wilson is when he is saying his prayers, he gets so so excited and even says "Heavenly Father" then mumbles something and then "Amen"! and claps his hands!

The Lorax

Me and mom took the kiddos to "The Lorax" the other day. What a darling movie, so colorful and fun! Wilson sat through the entire movie, so relaxing for me, Yay!

St. Patty's Day FUN!!!

Our little Leprechaun was so creative this year by bringing the kiddos not only Gold but some Gold Fish as well, ha ha!!! It was a total hit!!!!

How about that Leprechaun trap the kiddos made, LOVE LOVE LOVE it! We weren't able to catch him, but he did leave some ooey gooey Leprechaun poop, ha ha!

Oh my gosh how cute is our little Wilsy??

A nice little hike to end PIONEER week!

So I will tell you all that what a challenging week this last week was, but at the same time such an eye opener too. For Taylor's 4th grade class, they had to live like a pioneer for an entire week!!! What this actually meant......which by the way was SOOO hard.........Absolutely NO electronics (video games, tv, movies, phones, radios, etc.....) No small appliances such as toasters, microwaves, irons, blow dryers, etc.....(you should have seen me making toast over the stove (ha ha)! No fast food or take out pizza (never in my life have I cooked so much, lol), do 2 chores a day that your mom and dad tell you, say yes ma'am, no ma'am, walk everywhere within a mile, no cold cereal, and the list goes on and on. Well I am one proud momma because Taylor not only wanted to accomplish this (WHAT) but he actually DID it. He was amazing, he read almost 2 Harry Potter Books the entire week and it made me realize just how darn good our kids have it, and that technology is TOOOOOO much these days. It was nice to have that reminder. It will be fun to see how many kids actually did the assignment (there's a cool prize up for grabs for the kid who does the most), can't wait to see if Tay wins it.

So yesterday to finish up his week of being a Pioneer, we thought it would be a good idea to go on a fun little hike. Oh I can't wait for SPRING!

Yay, it's FINALLY done

Here is the boys bedroom FINALLY done, oh boy this has been a work in progress but I'm happy to say they LOVE it. They wanted to go with a BYU theme (not too much) so we painted the walls the colors BYU blue, tan, and white, then added a few BYU accents, and voila......here it is. The boys favorite part is the big giant shelf that goes all the way around their room so they can display their treasures, aka trophies, Queen Anne's Revenge Lego ship and other Lego's, hats, pinewood derby's etc....! And then of course their next fav is this...........................!


A brand spankin new TV, for movies and games only! Didn't want to spoil them too much. Honestly this has been the best thing ever, no more chaos upstairs with the kids fighting over who gets to watch what and who gets to play what game, they are in complete heaven. My favorite is listening to them at night just sit and talk and giggle.....best......sound.......EVER!!!!!

You know you're tired when...........

You know you're tired when you're visiting your Grandma and you want to take a nap so bad that you crawl in the laundry basket to get all snuggly and cozy. Wilson is my very first kid who will actually ask to take a nap, what, does that really happen? So here he is so completely tired that he was just trying to find somewhere to rest!


Oh, but here he is wide awake, I guess the nap will have to wait until we get home:)
