Our hike to the Y

Finally we did our hike to the Y! The kids have been wanting to go all summer so we decided yesterday was a fabulous day to go.....and it was! We packed a little lunch and off we went. I loved how excited the kids were to see exactly what the Y was made out of, cemented rocks that were painted, and then to see how smooth and big it was as we were driving home!! Oh how I love being in the great outdoors, so very refreshing to the madness that real life brings sometimes!

At the Y head gate, ready to hike the trail!

Dallin was definitely the mountain goat of the fam.....always ahead of everyone and at times even ran up the mountain:)

Awwww....how precious is that??

Almost there!!! :)

and we made it to the top......look at this view!

Woo Hoo we made it!

Mya was so excited to touch the top of the Y

Having a picnic at the top of the Y

Play time with daddy

On the corner of the Y with the kiddos

Here's the fam at the top of the Y

I loved how the kids kept saying,"Look mom, we were right there on the top of the Y!"

Girls St. George weekend

Usually a St. George girls trip would be all laughs and fun, but this weekend we went for an entirely different reason, we went to clean out my Grandma's house. It was bitter sweet because she has recently moved up closer to us but sad that she has completely lost her independence and literally her house going by in truck fulls to the D.I. We did do a few fun things here and there in between the going through and cleaning though, so that made it all worth the work. And of course had a few laughs while working too, you'll see some of the crazy stuff we found:)

One of Grandma's old wigs, oh boy did we find some treasures while cleaning out Grandma's house!

An old HOKEY

Little nick knacks!

A snowman clock that was hung ALL year long, oh sweet GRANDMA!!

A GIANT hour glass, hilarious!

Let me just tell you how excited I was to find this little treasure at Grandma's house, my boys will LOVE it. A FLAMING skull, how cool is that??

Friday night mom, Shayla, and Jennifer went to Little Mermaid and because I had already seen it me and Mya decided to go on a little date.

So for me and Mya's little date night, we started out shopping at TJ Maxx (LOVE the St. George one) and then she wanted noodles and rice, so yay we found this delicious Japanese restaurant! I loved just sitting there talking with Mya, she really is such a sweetheart!

Mya's favorite BLUE ice-cream from Cold Stone, a must on a girls date!!

I love going on dates with my "little BEST friend!" Sure love my Mya Bugs!

Here's Gage bright eyed and bushy haired on Saturday morning!! Love Grandma's wig:)

Shayla and Alecia cleaning up in the Attic!

Here goes one of the 5 loads that went to the D.I.

Gage and Shayla chillin outside!

I know this is disgusting, but we found these gross little creatures under a dresser that we were moving, I seriously almost threw up:(

Feeding the ducks again.

After we decided to take a break and go and visit my bro and sis n law.

So this is my sweet little nephew Kasen who broke his leg just the day before we got to St. George. We thought it would be a good idea to bring him some treats and toys to help with his boredom, poor sweet boy!

Playing on Kasen's swing set

Mya on the slide

Mya and Kasen playing Legos

Jennifer and Gage feeding the ducks!!

Me, Mya, Shayla, and Mom went to eat at a kind of yucky Mexican restaraunt! But the company was fun:)

We went and saw GREASE, what a DARLING production. I was so excited to see my friends daughter in law in it, (Cha Cha), but it happened to be the one day she took off, boo hoo! But we still LOVED it!

Mya zonked out, she fell asleep the last 5 minutes of the show, she lasted way longer this time than the Little Mermaid!

Sunday Morning:
Me and Mya played the Guessing game, love that game!

Then we cleaned up Grandma's house and headed to lunch with everyone!

Mya's favorite part of Texas Roadhouse, the peanuts:)

All of us eating lunch with Aunt Marja and my cousin Stefanie, after that we headed home!! What a busy weekend, but loved being with the fam!
