A girls ALLnighter!

About a month ago me, Jenny, Kristen, and Kirstin were trying to plan a fun little get-away for just girls and came to the conclusion that since we didn't want to spend any money we would have a sleepover at Jenny's mom's house (because they go out of town a lot and they wouldn't be there!) What a great idea, we had such a BLAST!! First of all I can't believe we stayed up until 5:00 in the morning, but wait with these girls yes I can. We played the funnest games all night and talked the night away. I am so grateful for these friends in my life! Thanks Jenny for planning this, you're the best!

I'm proud to be an American........

Tonight Taylor had a little performance with all of his fellow 1st graders. They did a tribute to our Secretary at their school who's son recently died while serving in Iraq. It was the cutest thing ever and I have to say, I even got teary. Whenever I hear that Lee Greenwood song, "Proud to be American" I get emotional, but to hear my cute little 1st grader sing it, it was all I could do to not bawl. It was great to hear them sing and even do sign language too. We are so proud of Tay, he did such a good job! This is all the 1st graders. Tay singing his little heart out! It was so precious to see. I am so investing in a video camera, this is the best picture I could get and all the video I took was blurry, AAARRRRGGGHHH! Taylor and his good friend Steven! Taylor and his teacher Ms. Allen, we absolutely adore her!

Do you think when your wedding ring is sucking the life out of your finger and making an indention and you have to get it cut off, that maybe it's time to lose some weight??? SHEESH!!! How sad is that?

Two little LOVE birds........

This is my neighbor friend Angie's little boy Luke who is just a week older than Mya. They are absolutely ADORABLE together and play really good. Me and Angie joke that they are going to be boyfriend and girlfriend when they are older. I'd be good with that!

Look what the little Leprechaun's left us..........

So because Jake and I procrastinated and went to the store last night to try and find some "gold coins" (yah right they were completely out), we had to think of something clever for the Leprechaun's to leave the kids. Jake had a great idea to have them leave "green poop" otherwise known as tic tacs. It was a hit, the kids laughed so hard! Dallin did say, "But mom, why didn't we get any gold!" Yah, try explaining that one to the kids. If anything I have learned to figure this out at least before the night of the holiday. Happy St. Patrick's Day to everyone!

Disney On Ice

Ready to go! Oh my, look how dang adorable my little Jasmine is! She was so excited to dress up!

Me and Myken bought tickets to Disney on Ice awhile back and Taylor was supposed to come too, but he was invited to a late night birthday party, that to be honest I thought he would have funner at, so mom came instead and we had tons of fun. The kids absolutely loved it! I admit, so did I! It was darling, I will for sure go again next year, especially to see the look on Mya's face......worth it all!


Mya was SOOOO excited to go with Ellie and especially Zoe, she absolutely LOVES Zoe. Look how cute they all look!

I was kind of surprised that Dallin loved it, he said all of it but "Ariel", (just cause it's a girlie show) he's so into that stage, so funny!

Temple Open House

Today we went to the Draper Temple Open House! It was really neat to see what the kids thought of the temple. Taylor was so sweet about the Celestial Room, he said, "Mom, this feels like what Heaven would feel like!" That was a proud moment for this mom, I'm so glad that he recognized his feelings. Dallin asked why we didn't bring our swimming suits to swim in the baptismal font, I thought that was pretty cute. And Mya was just happy to walk around without Mommy or Daddy having to hold her. My favorite was holding the kids up and looking in to the mirrors in the sealing room and showing the kids that we are an "Eternal Family!" How grateful I am for my Eternal Family and for everything my Savior does for me! I am so very blessed!


Mya was so funny riding lying down across the seats in the back of the shuttle bus, you know she really is a princess and can ride anyway she wants, LOL!

The real deal

I just wanted to add this little picture of Mya because it's funny that most days than not we are true ragamuffins at our house. It's funny because Ange and Shayla just die sometimes when they see Mya and the fact that her hair isn't done, but come on, we have to have those let down our hair moments don't we?

Las Vegas

I had a great weekend with Jake, Matt, and Myken. It was so nice to get away and have some "just us" time with Jake, we definitely feel refreshed. We were able to to some fun things! We rode the roller coaster at New York New York, Jake and Matt golfed, Me and Myken got a massage, Went to a show, I was able to read my book by the pool (probably my favorite thing), ate lot's of yummy food, played a few games, and got to sleep in, Awwww.......! But I would have to say that Vegas really is such a trashy little place. I realized that I have had my Vegas fill for quite some time! I MISSED my kids like crazy and even ask my bro in law Ben, the second I walked in the door I started bawling and just hugging them! Wow, 3 nights and I guess I'm done, ready to be mommy again, but so grateful that me and Jake were able to get away and reconnect. I sure do love my Jakey!

We had just gone on the New York New York roller coaster, seriously the craziest ride EVER! It was fun.

I admit, I played a couple of machines and lost EVERY time!!!

Vegas here we come!!

My Christmas present to Jake was for us to go to Vegas for a few nights and tomorrow we leave, woo hoo! Looking back, why didn't I get us a 4 night cruise, seriously for the same price if not less we could of, but I really didn't think of it at the time. So Thanks to all my family and everyone helping with the kids, we are so so grateful!! Is it funny that I'm looking more forward to sleeping in than anything, kind of pathetic I know, but awwww........can't wait! We'll see you in a few days......woo hoo!


And yes I know it's 3:30 in the morning, I had to go out on a call and up anyway charting, so here's to Vegas in the morning! Yee ha

We think it's broken....................

So last night the boys were wrestling and playing around while I was finishing up 20 2 page layouts (I'm in a little scrapbooking club) that are due this weekend and I hear Taylor jump from the love sac and just SCREAMMMMMM in pain! I ran over quickly and tried to see what was wrong. We checked everything out and to us it looked like he had a bad spain. So we thought let's have him sleep on it and we'll see how it is this morning, well here we are and it's pretty swollen and VERY painful for him. Our neighbor who is a PA came over (thankyou so much Aaron) and told us he thinks he has a visceral fracture, and that we should get it checked out. So as of now I am waiting for the Dr.'s office to call me back with an order for an X-ray! So to be continued..............!


Mya was so worried about Tay, she went and got a towel with ice and put it on her leg too! So funny


Look how swollen and the bone poking out! OUCH!!!

Update: So today we got the x-rays and they said that Taylor has a considerable amount of swelling, but no broken bones (which is great news), they say that he has sprained his ankle. So as of now, we are wrapping it with an ace wrap and he is not walking on it for awhile. You should see him hopping around, pretty funny! I'm so glad that he is okay!
