This is Wilson's new thing.....he LOVES to eat his toes! It doesn't matter if he's in the tub, laying on the bed, in the swing.....he has those toes in his mouth. For some reason it's the cutest thing to me!

Blue and Gold Banquet

I can't believe I have a little boy in Scouts!! Tay just started a couple months ago and tonight was his first time getting a badge (Bobcat) and also for him to get initiated into Scouts at the Blue and Gold Banquet. It was really cool to see how the scouting program works and fun to see ALLLLLLL the cute little cub scouters. Our ward is ginormous so there were LOTS and LOTS of people there! Way to go Tay!

Proud Momma

I am so proud of my Taylor! This last week they had a storytelling festival and Taylor took first place in his class with the story "Catalina Magdalena Hoopenstiener Walendiner Hogan Logan Bogan was her name!" He had the funniest actions with the story and said that most of the kids really liked it. I not only love that he did good at memorizing, but also that he wasn't nervous to speak in front of others. Way to go TAY!!!!

Groundhog Day lunch!!

I just had to document this because I know someday I will laugh about it. So for any of you that know my Dallin know that he's the pickiest eater on the planet!!! Hands down!! EVERY single day for lunch he has the exact same thing and WANTS to have the exact same thing, believe me I have tried to mix it up, but he just won't have it. So EVERYDAY it's turkey rolls, grapes, capri sun, doritos, cookies, and a fruit snack! Every now and then I can change up the fruit snack and put maybe a rice krispie treat, but only by asking my little picky one first! I get worried that he's going to get sick of it and then eat nothing, but so far 6 months into school he's been just fine. Oh how I wish that he liked school lunch!

A way cool Grandma

The other night my mom watched the kids, minus Wilson, of course we brought him along while me and Jake went on a much needed date. This is what we walked in on when we got home, Grandma playing the Wii with the boys and Mya fast asleep on the floor. It was precious to see her getting into it just as much as Tay and Dall. The funny thing is, years and years ago my mom had somewhat of an obsession with a Coleco game called LadyBug. We would catch her up at 2 in the morning trying to beat her best score, so I told the boys watch out, Grandma can be a little competitive. Hilarious!

An "Old" Girls Trip

I never got to post about this fun little girls night that us Murphy girls had a few months ago before I had Wilson! It was so great to spend time doing those way fun girly things like shopping, pedicures, eating out, watching movies, and staying up late talking. I am so lucky to have such amazing sis-in-laws and the best mom-in-law ever! I love how close we all are and that I have always felt like one of July's daughters, she has always treated me the same. I love you girls with all my heart!

Valentines Fun

It's always a tradition for Valentines to make yummy sugar cookies to give friends and family. The kids of course LOVE to help me!! While they were "taking forever" (as Mya would say) to cook, the boys spent some time wrestling around, it was hilarious! I love hearing my boys being rough and laughing at the same time, its one of my favorite sounds!

Oh Mya just LOVES dance

I am absolutely LOVING that Mya LOVES dance. To be honest, last week I was a little nervous because she just sat there for part of it, but this week, she was ALL about twirls, spins, and jumps and really she just can't get enough of those tap shoes. Seriously how excited am I for their little recital, okay it's not until June......., I know, I know......I've got awhile....but I just love that she gets so excited for dance!

Momma's Boy

Wils is my little buddy!! Always with me everywhere I go, held almost all of the time, and treasured every minute, even when he's freaking out!! Yes he's spoiled, but they are only little for a short time huh?

Wilson's Blessing Day

Today was Wilson's blessing day and what a special day it was! Jake did such a good job on the blessing, he really has such a way with words. Both Jake and I bore our testimony's and more than anything I wanted my kids to know how proud I am to be their momma, and that I know that my Savior loves me because he gave me these special little angels. It was so great to have ALL our family and friends there to celebrate this special day with us!! Thanks everyone, we love you so much!

How cute is this??? When Tay was a little boy he had a pet spider and one day Aunt Beka asked him what the spider's name was and he told her his name was "Lovely!" So Bek told Tay that someday he should write a book about a spider named Lovely. Well this year for school the kids were supposed to write a book and Tay knew exactly what he would write and who he would dedicate his book to, the Peterson's! He decided to give it to them today!!
