Thanksgiving 2010

This year we went to Meema's for Thanksgiving and of course if was full of YUMMY food, playing games, watching movies, and some good ol relaxing, as much as you can get with 3 one year olds running around amongst the rest of the kiddos!

Pinewood Derby

Here is Taylor's Pinewood Derby car he named "The Slayer!" It was quite the process of getting this little beauty ready but Tay's favorite part was spending one on one time with his dad!

I am a first time mom of this whole Pinewood Derby thing, and wow there are some pretty die hard pinewood derbiers (is that a word)! Tay's car didn't win, which Tay was kind of sad at first, but then he realized there were a lot of cars to have to beat. He has already been planning what his car will look like next year!

Christmas Tree Hunting

It's our annual Christmas Tree adventure, this year full of cold, snow, and blizzard conditions. Blah! Usually it's pretty descent weather when we venture out, we make a day of it, take a lunch and hang out around a fire, but NOT this year, we were lucky to have even come home with a tree. I'm just thankful we were all safe!

So since it was starting to snow and it was FREEZING, Jake and Che decided to go look for the trees on the ranger and leave us in our warm trucks. Well.......let's just say they ran into problems, the belt or something on the ranger broke so they were stuck on the mountain. Shane and Ange had to take his truck up to get them, leaving me having to entertain the kids in the truck. Oh what fun we had! NOT

By this time an hour had passed and we were GOING CRAAAAAAZY!!!!!! Me with all 4 kiddos, we became delirious with laughter, pretty funny!

There they are coming down the mountain.........after being stuck.......and yay they have 2 trees. We weren't even expecting them to come down with trees, we just wanted them to come down safe!
