His FAVS

Here's my Wils with his 3 most absolute favorite things in the whole world! #1- His Bink (which he calls his Be Be), #2- His Blankey (he carries his soft sliky blanket EVERYWHERE he goes, and #3- anything and EVERYTHING to do with CARS, he LOVES to play CARS!!!




The other day I found Wils completely asleep (in his favorite position, bum straight in the air) right next to my door, of course binky in his mouth and blanky by his side:)

The boy's FIRST day of school

I'll be honest, I am SOOO not looking forward to school starting, I love having the kiddos home (yes there are days that they drive me crazy), but I am such a better "SUMMER MOM" than I am "SCHOOL MOM!" I have to nag the kids (pretty much just Tay) to get up during the school year, nag to eat breakfast, nag to get homework done, and just the whole schedule thing is not for me. I do however love that they are learning of course, but that they get to be with their friends as well. This year I am THRILLED with both Tay and Dallin's teachers, we couldn't have asked for better ones, yay! So of course we have the traditional "first day of school" photos!

I'm the cheezy mom that layed out their "outfits" the night before, I promise I won't be doing that any other day, in fact it's a mad dash to grab clothes out of their drawers each morning.

Of course the backpack shot is a must! So here's the story about the kiddos backpacks. This year I told them that if they get an expensive backpack, they will use it for the next 2 years, which they were fine to do. I will tell you that these backpacks were seriously only like $5 - $10 more than the ones at Target, whew they are getting expensive aren't they, but luckily we found these on sale. I love what they each picked!!

and their off..........................seriously I think I have a harder time than they do. So not ready for this schedule thing, homework, and BLAH!!!


So I even got pics of the boys on their 2nd day because Dall was SOOOOOOOOOO excited for his cool skull changing color shirt! Is it pretty cool huh?

Happy Birthday DAD

My sweet, AMAZING, handsome, loving, talented, and precious dad turned 72 this week. Us girls took him to lunch to celebrate. Dad, your baby girl loves you more than anything and is SO proud to be your daughter!!

The LAST day of SUMMER

So for the very last day of SUMMER, literally the day before school started we went to the park where Myken and Matt had their fun slides (billboard signs) that the kids had a BLAST on.

Goblin Valley 2011

With summer coming to an end we of course had to get our feel of Southern Utah in so thank you so much Koriney for making the reservations to Goblin Valley! It was just us and the Cardona's and what GREAT company they all are. I love more than anything just how much our kids love to be with each other and how they get along so well, they are the true meaning of cousins. We saw some amazing things and thoroughly enjoyed every minute, even the HOT ones:)

Okay, so here's the story behind my ridiculously cheezy husband. Our Dallin will only eat a few things and it drives us crazy, so because Jake wanted to make Dallin eat dinner he told him if he didn't eat that he was going to have to look at dad dressed like this the rest of the day......oh my gosh that's enough to make me eat monkey's brain or something disgusting like that:)
