Wee Ha

Pretty rad that Wilsy gets rides from Tay on his rip stick!!  It's always a daily thing for Wils to ask for a ride.

Crazy snuggle time

Love snuggling my babies.......even Dexter :)
Tay took this pic of me being CRAZY.....it's official.....I think all this lack of sleep has turned me into a FREAKER!!  At least I make my kids laugh :)

Jump for Joy

Sure love my little one on one dates with my kiddos (especially when they are cheap like this one, LOVE coupons), but honestly you can't tell Mya is having fun can you?  Ha Ha!  She could have gone for hours, and even got her momma jumping with her......I can't believe I'm going to say this, but freak.....my bladder just isn't the same as it used to be (pre-pregnancy) jumping on tramps.......I was laughing so hard at myself!  Sure love my little Best Friend!

I love watching his creative mind at work

My Tay has had a lot on his mind lately (he has always been my worrier) so I thought it would be fun to go on a one on one date together.  I picked somewhere he could let his creative mind flow.  I love watching him be artistic, he did cool techniques like splatter from a straw on his pieces and then bubble affect on the inside.  These pics don't do it justice, just wait till after we pick them up to see how cool they look.  I even made my little Myita a Christmas present.  It's always such a great time with my Tay, he's so full of interesting questions and always makes me laugh!!!  Sure love this kiddo of mine!

"Why do I have 3 eyes?"

We had to take this little beauty to the dentist for the 2nd time this month, because the first time when they tried to fix her cavities she FREAKED out, poor thing.  I mean really, I get it, big shots in your mouth and then they pry open your mouth and expect you to keep it open forever it seems........she cracked.  So they IV sedated her to fix the other 2 that needed to be done.  It completely freaks me out when they give the medicine that all the sudden they are asleep, but she did great.  Best part was riding home in the car and having her ask me a BAZILLION questions, mostly "Why do I have 3 eyes?" and "Why is there a house in our car?".......so funny.
So here's a pic of her completely "stoned!"  Poor thing!!

Fall Time

Sunday we went for a ride with the Briems up to Strawberry Resevior to see the Salmon spawning.  It was pretty cool to see the fish, but way more cool seeing the amazing changing colors.  I swear every year we try and go at the perfect time but we we end up late and the colors aren't quite so vibrant, but this time it was and it was absolutely GORGEOUS!!!
How gorgeous is this view on our way up to Strawberry!!  We caught the leaves at the PERFECT time.
"Mama, look at the fish over Deere!"
Oh I love little Zeker's, such a sweet babes!

CANYONLANDS 2012

Canyonlands is ALWAYS the highlight of our year, we look forward to this trip all year long and LOVE being able to spend time with family, creating lasting memories.  Of course with the Black Family there is always a little bit of drama that comes along with being together, which can be super hard and emotional (especially this time), but every single thing else was ABSOLUTELY amazing and perfect.  This has and will always be my very favorite place EVER!!  I have so many fond memories as a kid here and love that I am creating the same memories for my kiddos!
Hiking up to Delicate Arch
Wilsy really hiked the whole rock way, it was awesome!!
Our fam at the arch.  My very favorite is walking around the little bend on the trail and BOOM, all the sudden Delicate is just right there in your face.  Seriously gives me chills every single time, and let me say that it's been A LOT of times :)
After Delicate we drove into Canyonlands and set up camp.  The kids of course wanted to hike around and explore!
When I was little we used to drink right out of these pot holes......uh......not going to let my kids do it, they beg every single time, ha ha!
Our camp site
Meditating by the Bonsai tree :)
Jake and I made a yummy Dutch Oven breakfast
Definite highlight of the trip......"Chocolate Falls"  The first day we went there was no falls, just the pond to jump in, but the second day after it had rained there was more water.  We love this place and always have so much fun here!
Here goes Jake
And Tay
And Shayla was the most daring and braved the HIGH cliff very first of everyone!  She's fearless!
Tay contemplating if he should jump from the high one!
And there he goes :)
Mya jumping off the little ledge, hey it's a start!  :)
My muddy Goo saying "I'm king of the world!"
Dallin jumping off
Ha Ha Ha, love this of Tay and Hunter

Cute Kanyon and Britt
Here's the group of us minus my bestie (Ange, Shane, Che, and Whit woke up early and hiked to Druid Arch)!  Britt and Josh brought their friend Terrell and I have to say, it was an absolute pleasure having him there, such a studly guy and so great with the kiddos!
This was Wilson's little play area, he spent hours here building and stacking his rocks.  Love this little ham of mine!
Cool Contrast
Jennifer organized a fun little scavenger hunt for all the kiddos.  It was so cute!
Kanyon cooling off!
Che and Whit
And Mya is the winner!!  She was so excited!
Shayla playing horse shoes
After it totally poured rain, we found this awesome fresh waterfall right in our camp site!
Cute Gramma Jennifer with her Kanyon
Double rainbow
How does that rainbow taste guys!  Ha Ha Ha Ha
We went to the little ranger show on Saturday, she talked about the wildlife in Canyonlands.  Brighton was the hit of the show, he kept asking the cutest questions ever.  My favorite was "Maybe we could name the cougar Sparky!" :)
Someone's had a busy day!!
One of my very favorite things that I did this time was take Tay and Shayla on a 15 mile hike to my very favorite place Peek-a-boo (it was supposed to only be 9 miles, but I kind of got us lost, oops!)  We left at dark (5:00 a.m.) and hiked by moonlight, when we got to the sign that I am familiar with I accidentally veered off.  After a little bit I kept saying to Tay and Shayla, "I think they have changed this trail, I don't recognize this part!"  Well 6 miles later we were back at the right spot to continue on our way.  It was GREAT talking and taking in this amazing place. Tay was such a trooper, not one single complaint!!  He's my little mountain goat!!
Here's the sun coming up!
This is when we figured out we were definitely on the wrong trail......so we headed back to get on the right one!
Cool snake we saw!
Awwww....I caught this cute little mini frog!
Yay, we are on the right trail now.
There's 2 ladders on this hike, this was the fist little one!
My handsome mountain goat :)
Poor Tay, jumped across this and hit his hip so hard on the rock, but of course was just fine!!
Steep part!
Love this of me and my Tay
Sure my love Shayla......so so glad she was with us!

Every year we bring a new superhero to take a pic of with the red man pictographs.....this time it was Superman's turn!
I promise Tay is not touching the pictographs.......these are ones we have known are in Peek a boo for years, but newcomers don't even know where they are!
So there's kind of an inside joke to this pic, but Ange is absolutely petrified of this part of the hike, kind of steep and really does just drop off, but it's like four feet long so you cross it in literally 3 steps.  I had to get a pic of Shayla here to scare Ange!  :)
Cool pink and yellow colored rock!
Wilsy reading the paper with Grandpa Tom
While we were on our little hike everyone else went on the Cowboy trail hike!!  Here's Wils climbing the rickety wood ladder!
When we got back from our hikes we all decided to go back to Chocolate Falls, yay we love this place!!  Here's me and my SISTAS.......and the goofy guy in the background taking the pic with us, so so hilarious.  Look at the next one and there he is again just a posing for the camera, ha ha ha!
Jake poopin, ha ha!
Mya swimming with Uncle Shaner
These are my absolute favorite pics.....look at the excitement on Wilson's face.  He is LOVING swimming with daddy in Chocolate Falls!  And notice the falls this time :)

On Ange and Shanes night for dinner me and Jake took the kiddos up on top and hiked around a bit!
Me and Mya with the cotton candy clouds behind us!
Me and Dallin on top of the highest rock watching the sunset, AMAZING!!!
Jennifer wins MVP for entertaining the kiddos :)  She brought glow sticks and tried to make glow bubbles.  The glow sticks were a definite hit, got some cool pics!
Hanging around the campfire!
Okay, I can't even hardly stand to look at this picture, but Shane caught this ginormous termite looking HUGE disgusting squishy bug........it was so gross!!  Had to take a pic.
We have wore these kids right out.  Here's Mya zonked out and Tay of course after 15 miles and playing in chocolate falls, he's ready to call it a night!
Next morning was time to pack up camp........the kids all were in charge of picking up every single piece of garbage and was even paid for it, lucky ducks!!
Dad and his cool trailer!
Wooden shoe arch
Us at Newspaper rock, such a cool HUGE wall of pictographs!
We of course had to stop at Wilson Arch and get Wilson's picture.
An Indian with a sword.......ha ha ha!

Fun little shops and things to see and Hole in the Rock!

After a yummy lunch in Moab we stopped and looked around a bunch of the shops!

I am so grateful for the AMAZING time that we had.   I sure love my family (craziness and all) and love the Memories that I am creating with my little kiddos to appreciate and love somewhere that is so precious to me!
