Meeting a LEGEND

The other day me and Tay went to Costco to have BRANDON MULL autograph yet another book for Tay. We already have his autograph on each of the "Fablehaven" books and his "Candyshop War" Book, but this is his latest and greatest, "The Beyonders". Tay loves every time that we see Brandon (we're on a first name basis since Tay is friends with his nephews Dalton and Cole) so it's fun to see him recognize and even take pics with Tay. We even got word that they are in the works for a Fablehaven movie. YAY

Dallin's KARATE tournament

On Saturday Dallin had his first official karate tournament. He started karate only 3 weeks ago, but he really wanted to compete in the tournament so of course we let him. I was really proud, he got 3rd place out of 5 kids, pretty good for just starting. The crazy thing was he had to fight his very best friend Jaden, we were kind of nervous about it, but these two have been wrestling each other since they were tiny. :) Good job Dall.

They are so proud of their medals!

Date night with Dallin

Me and Goo at Sizzler (his very favorite is their steak).

Saturday night I was able to take my Dally Goo out for his one on one date and we had a blast. Dallin wanted to go to Sizzler (seriously my kids love that place) and bowling at Fat Cats after. I loved more than anything how silly and sweet Dallin is. There's a special innocence with Dallin, something that is so endearing to me. We had so many times that we just laughed, I just can't get enough of that kid. Thanks Dall for the awesome time!.

Dallin found a new love.......kiwi. Yay.

Of course one of our favorite parts is seeing Aunt Ange there.

We had to hit the arcades at Fat Cats....here we are playing a racing game.

The perfect ball, Dall's favorite color, and it was even light enough for him:)

Dallin LOVES to go bowling!

Frosty's after!!!

Date night with TAY

Mom, Tay, and me all at the Art Museum at BYU!

So I finally had my one on one (with Grandma too) with Taylor. He decided that he wanted to go to an Art Museum, (love that he loves to go to those because I have always loved to as well, even at a young age like him), then to eat at Olive Garden. After we were going to go to a movie, but nothing playing really interested us. We decided to go to the mall and walk around for a bit, my favorite part was getting our pictures together in those little picture booths (brought back so many memories of when I was little and would do that with friends), we were laughing so hard at each other. I LOVE that I was able to give him my undivided attention the WHOLE time.

The Carl Block exhibit was amazing, so glad we went!

Outside the Museum of Art at BYU!

Here's a cool piece of art that Tay loved!

This was a picture at the war exhibit.

Oh how I love this sweet boy of mine. We had such a good time on our date! What I learned about Taylor is he is such a thinker and asks very cool questions to me. He loves to talk about "Life" and is so mature for his age. It was like hanging out with a friend, who has a really goofy side as well, totally love his silliness :)

St. Patricks Day

Happy St. Patricks Day.

All the shoes lined up and a leprechaun trap that Taylor made hoping to catch him this year. That sneaky little green leprechaun left the kiddos some fun green presents- woo hoo.

A Date Night with my Little Best Friend

It's been a long time coming for me to spend some one on one time with the kids (Jake just did his last week with each kid) so last night me and Mya went on a fun little date. She wanted to go to the aquarium and then to Sizzler (of course to see Aunt Ange.) We had such a fun time and I loved that I could just give her my undivided one on one attention. I sure love that baby girl of mine.

Me and my little best friend, oh how I love my sweet Mya Bugs, us sitting in front of the sting rays. Mya was so scared to touch them, she didn't want to have anything to do with that, it was pretty funny.

Mya and Zo, BFF's

We loved the jelly fish, what amazing little creatures!

Seriously I've just figured out that I think an octopus is a very strange and yucky animal, all those little suckers on their legs, eeewwww!!

This is for Tay and Dallin, creepy piranha's!

Seriously the penguins were so dang cute! Mya said that was her favorite:)

Look mom, I'm as tall as a penguin!!

A very cool gift

Grandpa Murf made the boys this Baseball Bat where he carved "Murf" in it! Not only is this special because Grandpa Murf made this, but a long long time ago he used to pitch for BYU baseball team and Tay and Dallin LOVE telling everyone that. The last couple of years my boys have totally been into baseball, which by the way I'm so excited for it to start in a few weeks, and love having Grandpa Murf practice with them.

Jr. Jazz

This year has been so fun watching Taylor play Jr. Jazz basketball. He has never played before and has actually gotten to be pretty good, even says he wants to play next year, I guess that means he likes it huh? We have loved going to the games and seeing how each week he improves. I think he's finally totally got it down with only one more game left......o well there's always next year.

Taylor going for a shot

This is my fav......Tay and Bridger = BUDDIES.
