It's Official, I can announce it to the world!!!

Okay, so for those of you that know me, know that it's been REALLY hard to not talk about this as much as I would like, but now I can FINALLY share my excitement with everyone. I am officially 12 1/2 (yes that 1/2 makes a difference) weeks pregnant and we all are SOOOOO thrilled. I found out I was pregnant awhile ago, but with everything that has happened with my previous miscarriages I have been very hesitant on saying too much. So at 8 weeks the Dr. had me do an ultrasound, we saw the heartbeat and everything looked great and then just today I had my 12 week appointment, heard the heartbeat and it just confirmed it all over again that everything will be okay! I feel that now I can scream it to the world!!

This one has been really different because I have been SOOOOO dang sick! I don't know if it's that I'm getting older, or what, but I have to say I am just about sick of throwing up, feeling hungry, but NOTHING sounding good. I promise I am not complaining because I am grateful for this knowing what it means, but I have to admit, I have been somewhat of a poor mom lately. Bless my sweet husbands heart who has taken over on dinner duties, because honestly to even open the fridge just makes me want to puke! I'm hoping that it starts to lessen, it kind of seems that it has, knock on wood, so here's to 6 more months of pure bliss! I just LOVE being pregnant!

Mya's favorite thing to play

So over the last couple of years we have been collecting potatoe heads and recently Mya has discovered how fun they really are. My favorites are the ones we got at Disneyland (Ariel, Minnie, Captain Jack, Buzz, Donald, Goofy, etc....), but Mya just can't help but always make the princess's first! We have even more than this, but not enough potatoes to put everything on. I have to admit, it's even fun for me!

Aren't they all just so so cute!

Mya so proud of all her creations! Okay, I helped a little!

Baseball Season is here

Wow, I can't believe my little guy is playing machine pitch baseball. It's a whole different league than T-ball, they actually keep score. Taylor had his first game on Tuesday and I think he did great considering he had never even practiced with machine pitch. It will be fun to see him progress through the season. It's been fun to see him get excited to play and to practice playing catch and hitting the ball with Jake. I love love love to watch him play.

And he hits the ball!

Made it to first!

Running HOME!

He was soooo excited that he scored a point.

Spring Break in St. George

This past weekend we went to St. George to stay with my bro Daron and his family. We had such a great time, nice and relaxing, and so fun to just hang out with them. They were so so nice and accomadating and we really just felt like we were at home. We went on a little hike on the red rocks, went to a fun little park, went swimming with Myken and the kids (she was down there staying at her grandma's place), ate out a couple of times, went shopping, went to a crystal mountain, and the kids just played played played. It was so nice to get away!

Oh my, could you just eat them both up, what little cuties!

This park was AMAZING! It had a big water gyser thing and the playground was even shaded.

This was when Mya was actually having fun, she kind of threw a little temper tantrum later (girls, sheesh!), so I'm glad I got a couple of pics of her happy!

I kept trying to take pics of Jake on the way home, this one made me laugh!

It finally "died"

Ok, so for those of you that know me well know that I absolutely LOVE my heater!! My very favorite thing is to go to sleep and hear the constant hummmmm of my beloved heater. Well I am sad to say that after 15, yes I said 15 years it has finally "died!" What a sad day it is not only to me, but to my kids. They too have found a love for this heater. The second they get out of the tub it's straight to the heater we go. There were often times that I would find my kids with a pillow just laying by the heater, something they have seen mommy do countless times. I know that we can just get another one, but this heater has been a part of our life for so long, a little dramatic I know, ha ha! So this is a little tribute to the one thing that soothed us all and lulled us to sleep oh so many nights.

Easter Day

We had a great Easter this year! I would have to say that it's kind of hard to have church at 9:00 and have Easter all done before, but we actually made it and we even got a soft seat in church, (yah that hardly EVER happens!) We talked about the true meaning of Easter and of course the kids were excited to find their baskets. What a special time of year for us all.

All Easter'd out!

Don't you just love the sleepy morning look!

Look how excited Dallin is!

All the loot!

Pre-Easter Fun

Yesterday was a fun filled Easter day for the kids. First we headed over to the Cedar Hills egg hunt, which was a pretty good turn out despite the rain. The kids had fun except Mya was a little frightened by the scrawny, kind of creepy adult bunny that was there. Hmmm.....aren't bunnies supposed to be plump and fluffy?? After we headed back home, Grandma Sis, Aunt Jennifer, Brittany, and Brighton came over to color Easter eggs, my favorite by far was the Tye Dye ones. Then Grandma had her own little Easter Egg hunt for the kids and all of them were pleasantly surprised to find candy and even money in the eggs. Thanks mom for always making things fun. Then we finished off the afternoon with going to Daxton's Lacrosse game and sat in the pouring rain with our umbrella's. What a GREAT day!

Awwwww......aren't they all so cute!

Look at them go!

Dallin was so excited, too bad this picture is blurry!

Look at all my eggs I got!

Bros

This was funny, Mya would run and get one thing at a time and bring them back to us!

Tay and Dal coloring their eggs!

Look at our cool eggs, ooohh la la!

Mya was so excited to find her eggs.

Mya was the lucky one who found a $5 bill in one of the eggs, um.......can the adults play too???

Hugs for Grandma!
